What an exciting day at COVERINGS 2010!! The show had plenty of visitor's, but not quite as many as there was during the housing boom.

While attending the show today, I was fortunate enough to meet up with some colleague's from Xiamen, China with Xiamen Lanlei Import & Export Co, LTD. I can not say enough good things about Xiamen Lanlei, this a great organization to work with. Thanks again Rochelle Leyte, with Lanlei Import & Exports, for the warm reception. Rochelle Leyte, it is always a pleasure doing business with you, and you are a valuable asset to Lanlei Import & Export Co.

Although there were a number of decorative displays, one of the most appealing booths would have to go to Majestic Gemstone. Majestic Gemstone had a series of high quality designs to view at COVERINGS 2010. In the image below, you can see the curved bar. This bar is made of Carnelian Stone, and is very unique. A single slab of this stone can easily cost $6,000 - $10,000. Unique stones like Carnelian, and others can be viewed at their website www.majestic-gemstone.com/index.asp

Micheal Jackson did make an appearance at the show, but only in the form off mosaic tile, designed by Adam. This artistic creation was indeed very cool.

The COVERINGS SHOW kicks off tomorrow, (04-27-10) at 10:00 am. The Tile & Stone industries invest a serious amount of resources to impress consumers, and buyers like myself. This important show provides information on thousands of new products, and one must understand that knowledge is power.

This show will feature over 1000 exhibitors from around the the globe. When one walks through this show, it will become very clear that everybody wants your attention, because everyone looking for the BBD (Bigger-Better-Deal). One of the beauties of this show is how one can't tell the big buyers from the mom & pop buyers; we all look the same. Every exhibitor wants your business... Its the Big Fish Syndrome... Imagine it playing out something like this; "Mr. Buyer, are you a big fish? Because I looking for a big dinner! No Mr. Exhibitor, I am but a small fry, I sell a few jobs here and there. I offer my consumers the knowledge I've come to learn here." This knowledge translates into things like what kind of sink should I buy, and if you going to want your sink to still look good 5 to 10 years down the road? It this is the case, one better purchase a BLANCO sink. The BLANCO sink is a excellent buy around $600.00 retail. For a quick break-even scenario you can divide the cost of $600.00 by a time period of 5 years. You will find that this investment will cost 10.00 a month... Compare this to Internet service which, on average may cost $50.00 per month, in most places..

If you purchased granite counter-tops five years ago, with a Blanco sink; your sink still looks new and you got your monies worth. I sell BLANCO sinks because recognize the value in a superior product. Personally, there is a BLANCO STEELART in my home which is four years old, and still looks BRAND NEW!
Please check back, pictures of exciting new products form the show coming soon ...
